is assasins creed 2 any good?

I found the origional game very repetative and got bored of it. However ive just seen the video review of Assassins creed 2 and it looks to be a much better game than the original, with more to do.What are you guys making of this new version? is it as repetative as the first?is assasins creed 2 any good?
It's a million times better than the original. The repetitiveness has taken the biggest nosedive in gaming history. You'd be doing yourself a massive favor by playing this game.is assasins creed 2 any good?
is the same but the mission are not repetitive this time
Well I'm actually one of the people that loved AC1 so I'm loving AC2 even more.Definitely one of my top games for 2009.P.S. The unlockable armor of Altair looks sick! 8)

I really enjoyed it, but I also loved the first one. The missions are a little more varied, and it's also a little bit easier to deal with guards since you are detected as frequently. I'd recommend it to anyone who liked the first one or any PoP games.
why do you ask if a game that has generally positive, favorable reviews with good things to say by critics and players is any good? seriously, dont people know how to read reviews anymore?

yes.

I really like it. i liked the first one. but this one very much feels like what AC1 was MEANT to be. It's not super repetitive. it is much more story driven (which is awesome), everything is made much clearer and is cooler because of it. I cannot put the game down. I had to take breaks in AC1 just because of the reptivness of it.
Improved a lot from the first one. I think worth a try yeah.
I've only played the first few hours of the game, but it's definitely far superior. There's a much greater sense of this being the finished article, not like AC1 which showed great promise, but rapidly got boring. even the combat is better. enemies sometimes even attack you more than one at a time! crazy, i know!

No, you unlock his armor for Ezio by collecting Assassin's Seals.
I'm thinking of picking this game up as well, I loved the first one, so I'm sure this one will be fantastic for me, and it has PLENTY of new missions, so, I'm sure that'll help with the repetition !!
This game is awsome...I thought it was just going to be a couple of new things added yet the same old Assasins creed.I was wrong..They added a ton of new things to the game. Very deep missions and storylineand lots of different things to do.This is the first and only game that I went to almost get all the achievments. I liked it taht much!
It won't take much effort at all to get 1000/1000 achievements. I think this is the only game I've ever 100% completed. I work full time and beat it in about four days of playing a few hours each evening. Now there's nothing at all to do in the game. It was a great ride, but after its over there's not much you can do with it.
It's awesome. I loved the first one, but AC2 is so much better. There are a lot more different mission types, weapons, moves, customization options, the world is more alive and open to free roaming, and it's just plain better.

I have a few questionsis it easy to escape the guards or do they get really annoying finding you all the time.is it realistic, i saw gameplay and i saw ezio jump fall off a building and survivedis the flying machine only used in 1 mission?can you drive vehicles?can you have bodyguards?

...... drive vehicles?
This is a great game. Great story, great gameplay and a whole lot of new features than from AC1. This game is definitely longer too. Maybe 20-25 hours depending if you do all the side missions and explore. Up there with Batman as best game of 2009 IMO.
