I didn't like Halo 3 at all

Hi there,I never played Halo before but when I got my Xbox 360 I thought Halo 3 is one of the best games and I think alot of people like it; I just finished the single player game and I almost did't have fun, the game isn't bad but I didn't enjoy it, plus the single player campaign should be longer.Actually I think the game is over rated; long time ago I used to play FP Shooter like Half Life, Quake and Unreal and I used to have fun, let me know your opinion guys! and is the multiplayer any good?I didn't like Halo 3 at all

Yeah it is an over rated game but I still enjoyed it. Short campaign butI like the variety of vehicles and guns you can use. The multiplayer is good too although I stopped playing it because I didn't fancy forkin out for the new map packs. I also think that the story went downhill after Halo CE. Oh yeah and I thought Half Life was far better than Halo...apart from all that I think its a good game.
Halo 3 isn't horrible, it's just generic. And outclassed by Orange Box, Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield Bad Company, etc.

Bad Company is nothing compared to Halo 3.
well your problem is taht you started with halo 3, and have no idea about the story so the campaign would suck...also the game gets its good reviews bc of the story(which u dont understand) and the multiplayer (which you havent played yet online)...what also sucks for you is that you bought halo 3 so you dont have all of the multiplayer maps...you should have bought halo odst, bc that is a standalone single player campaign, and it has all of the halo 3 multiplayer DLC

its a old game, plus theres hardly any shooters these days with longer campains at all.



but halo3 is one of the very few fps games ive actually went back and completed again and again. must of replayed the campain about half dozen times. great replay value if u go for the achievements and play with friends with skulls on as well after you found them all.
I loved it personally, best sci-fi fps I've played since,,,well halo 2 lol



It'd probably help if you played the other 2 first (or at least halo 2) but the main problem is its one of those love it or hate it games. You either love it to bits and think its got the most awesome story and multiplayer etc etc OR you'll think its over rated
I just bought it last week so i could have a multiplayer and co-op campaign to go through with my roomate. I loved the first Halo, never played the 2nd, but this one is pretty fun. Everything is balanced out fairly well, and even on legendary i dont feel cheated when i die... i just have to get my act together.

Ive never played it on Live, but 4 player local is great with a big tv. My biggest gripe is that it doesnt save your stats if you arent connected online.... Why do new games suddenly forget the point of playing them in the first place? It has nothing to do with being connected 24/7... remembering high scores and general info has been fundamental since the arcades of old... why do they suddenly think its ok to take these huge steps backwards?
Yeah, I rented the game from gamestop(7 days for used games LOL) when I got a my first XBOX 360 arcade at WM($100 gc deal) and thought it was kind of bland also. The enemies almost feel a littlecomical in apperance, environments aren't inspiring,and the graphics suck. Though I will say it is very easy to pickup and play. Average game at best.

Meh to all halo games, for me they suck but I know there's a huge amount of fans out there so better keep my opinion to myself.

Everything is overrated these days it's a very popular thing to call a game that you didn't enjoy. Personally I never play games that I dislike and never pay attention to reviews but that's just me.
