Local multiplayer 'versus' games

What are some good local multiplayer games, with player-vs-player, for the Xbox 360?I am looking for stuff like Mario Kart (racing %26 battlemode), Tetris, fighting games, puzzle games etc.I realize this stuff is more readily available on other platforms, but my friend has a 360 and that's what he has, and no internet access.Not to keen on shooters and other 3d-perspective games.Surely there's Tetris on Xbox??Is there a retail-disc compilation of XBLive mini games?I have tried Google but I only get Halo'esque recommendations.
