remember when SP experience used to be g ...

playing MW2 now. the MP is incredible. Ive been playing the SP and it is god awful. to the point where they should be ashamed of themselves for even adding that experience. why cant more FPS games have a story experience like some other recent FPS released this year. the whole blood splatter on the camera f's everything up. u get shot once you are blind.remember when SP experience used to be g ...
i thought the single player was great, albeit quite short, and the multiplayer is crap. haha i guess we can agree to disagree.remember when SP experience used to be g ...
Remember CoD3, amazing.i think that achievements have ruined the single player experience. i dont thing that achievements are bad, its justthat they make the SP very limited, especially in RPGs because it means that youalready know what you're working for. i think that achievements should be done a little bit differently. i think they should make games with 1000 achievements and each one is worth one gamerscore. or maybe 200 at 5 each. just to make the game a lot deeper and longer.

Shooters have almost all migrated to the online multiplayer area of gaming, where the single player experience is usually an afterthought... for true single player experiences RPG's are really the best place to look
i wonder how long before a 4 hour sp is considered long.
i personally hate almost every competitive mp shooter, and it saddens me how short sp is becoming in shooters.

Im with the other guy here, Single player was very good (was a bit boring at first but got very interesting as it went on) and multiplayer is just run and gun (like the rest of the series).
If they could have made MW2's length the same as CoD2's then I would be fine with it, but it is pretty short. Spec-Ops could have been better also.
Bioshock...then Bioshock 2 is coming out next year as well, two great SP FPS, best on any console.
AC2 is amazing. really good story and gameplay
It saddens me to see so many companies switching to multi player as their number one priority rather than single player. What ever happened to long single player with an in depth story line, well developed characters and rich dialogue. Other than the RPG genre, games like these are almost non existent anymore.
i still think there a lot of good games out there with great MP
yeah, I don't like that blood splatter on the screen either... I thought that the Halo ODST screen turning red was annoying, but it's even worse here because it's really difficult to see anything. Who thought this was a good idea? I know that they're trying to make it more interactive, but it shouldn't be there if it's annoying. However, I did enjoy the campaign overall, even though it was short.

Try playing Team Hardcore. You don't see as many people running around, cause they're all hiding. lol
The Darkness has the best story for a shooter. Although that game came out years ago..
I loved the SP campaign. I thought it was pretty fun.
Gears of War 2, Far Cry 2, Bioshock are all games that have nice SP stores (Far Cry loses a bit on story, but has an open-world with over 50h of gaming).
I enjoyed MW2's singleplayer, and there are plenty of good, recent singleplayer games. Stop being such a drama queen.

I had an absoulte blast with the campaign of MW2. CoD3 campaign = Amazing? Were we even playing the same game? CoD 3 campaign was by far my least favourite of all the CoD games, and I know A LOT of gamers on Gamespot will agree with that.
