weird networking issue. please help!

I can't even sign on to xbox.com and when i try signing in on my 360 it fails on the one between internet and xbox live. I get the message that says ''your router or gateway isn't properly responding to icmp responses''. Could anyone please help me on this?weird networking issue. please help!

have you tried turning your router on and off?
or maybe where you live theres and update and it might take 24 hours
