K so id have to buy a HDMI cord for my xbox. Is 1900x1200 resoultion 1080p?
No, It's not. You'll have black bars at the top and bottom of your screen while playing xbox. It's no big deal, the xbox supports this resolution.
That will be perfectly fine for the 360 and infact much better than most HDTV's at the same price point.
my xbox plays on my 21.5'' asus wide screen with a vga hook up with no black bars so i don't know what that other guy was talking about
Then your monitor is either not 1900*1200 but 1920*1080 (1080p), or your resolution is set incorrectly on your xbox. The 360 does not render 16:10 images; it can only output 16:9.
