Left 4 Dead vs. Left 4 Dead 2

So I've been playing Left 4 Dead 2 this past week and I'm really enjoying it, but the characters aren't as cool as the first and the levels don't seem quite as scary or detailed. But the 2nd has way more weapons and the new special infected are awesome... which do you think is the ultimate zombie apocalypse experience?Left 4 Dead vs. Left 4 Dead 2
Yeah the new game is good, the additional weapons, especially, melee are great. I wish they included themaps of the first game. Blood Harvest is my favourire, nothing beats surviving the farm house at the end, lots of fun. If they make it free DLC I will be happy.Left 4 Dead vs. Left 4 Dead 2
I never thought either left 4 dead or left 4 dead 2 were scary they had an eerie mood to them but thats all but imo left 4 dead 2 is so much better the environments are just so much better. The new characters are like you said not as good as the originals but theyre still lovable. and the music has more of a variety to it.
Seeming the game requires a good online community, I figure the better game is the one people are still playing. Once that dies, the game will make a nice coaster...
I love Left 4 Dead 2.ProsCampaign maps are betterMaps are more open instead of the narrow maps in L4DMelee WeaponsNew Special InfectedMore Zombies on screenNew GunsTotally random on the weapon spawns (dont have to start out with regular uzi or shotty)ConsL4D2 characters are good, but not great as the original cast.
There is much to say about Left 4 Dead 2. The dismemberment is better, the guns are better (I unlike many other really like the magnum), the aspects that adrenaline and the defib add are great, explosive and incendiary ammo are pretty awesome, the wandering witches are great, the zombie hordes are more relentless...I could go on for ever, Left 4 Dead 2 is what Left 4 Dead should have been in the first place, but I won't hold that against them. It's an awesome game, and I actually like these characters better, Coach and Rochelle are a little bland, but Ellis and Nick are great. Oh, and, nothing...NOTHING...satisfies like slicing through hordes of zombies with a Ninja Sword.
