Yes, there is an option to turn the gore off in L4D2. There wasn't in L4D1, but that game wasn't nearly as gory as the sequel. Plus they had to tone down the gore to get the game released in Australia anyway, so might as well throw the option in there, right?

The games an 18, if your lil bro needs permission from your parents then he shouldnt be anywhere near the game gore option or not
Imo don't even play it if you want to turn the gore off.It takes so much enjoyment out of the game.

I'd still play it without the gore but the gore is awesome. Slicing zombies in half never gets old.

It does once you do it 100000 millions times I bet. I hate to say it, but I got sick of L4D after a couple of months
