I've been searching for that very same question for the last hour or so, but i haven't seen any legit source saying they are banning so i think the modded content will be fine but who knows

I can't tell if a gun is modded. I mean, I have a class mod that regenerates all my guns ammo. but that's IN the game, so no. but that's pretty strange...
If you modded the gun yourself then you should know, if someone gave you a gun that seems game breakingly powerful then it might be modded and you might want to get rid of it.
