Usually I've always been a warrior when you have the choice between the two, but for Dragon Age I chose to be a mage.
My brothers the complete opposite and usually chooses to be a mage, but chose to be a warrior on Dragon Age.
Now we argue about which one is better.
Honestly I do think the mage, even though I'm a warrior fan, because the beggining of the storyline is alot more interesting.
What's your opinion? :]Mage or Warrior?
well in games like NeverWinter Nights i usually go for mage classes simply because they are more powerfull than warriors, in Dragon age however i acually went with rogue first, use him properly and hes a match for any mage, also because the way a mage is used in this game is more a support character and i want to be in the thick of the fightingMage or Warrior?
yeah, im usually the same way but for some reason i wanted to be a support character in Dragon Age.
Elf Warrior with Champion and Berserker Specializations FTW!!!!!!!!
Went elf mage then arcane warrior so you i can wear heavy armor, use shields and heavy weapons. Its awesome.
Mage seems more enjoyable. Warrior looks like the safe choice.

I'm an elf mage and it's really fun. warrior doesn't have all the amazing colors shooting everywhere. :]
Out of those two? I'll always pick warrior. In reality, however, I always pick rogue in hopes that whatever game I'm playing will actually have a rogue play properly. I am always dissapointed.:(
I'm sorry you've always been disappointed. :[
I've actually never really been a rouge, never had the taste for it I guess.
Mage by far. Warriors are good, but mages in this game are so broken it isnt funny. And whoever said mages are support characters  By the end of the game my mage had done 83% of my parties total damage throughout the whole game. Its all in how you build him and what spell combos you use.
I usually use a warrior character on my first playthrough, then rogue/thief/engineer on a second playthrough.

Just completed the game as a rogue and never felt I was less a warrior than a ''Warrior''. Next playthrough will e as a mage as that is totally different. No class is better, they are just different.
My mage does too much damage. I think the Mage, if built right, destroys the warrior. I even have more defense than the worriors in my party. I'm at 107.
