Borderlands, worth it?

I was considering getting Borderlands for Christmas, but i dont know if its worth it, what do you think? Any other games you would suggest over it?Borderlands, worth it?

it's very much so worth it. amazing game; and DLC just came out today, which guarantees an extra 10 hours of gameplay. besides, II put about 50-60 into a single playthrough.
how much is the dlc?

I was hesitant about this game as well, seem really overhyped.Well, I started the game last week and I'm kicking myself for not jumping on this game.OMG, this game is Awesome! It's up there for my GOY choice right now!
Well as long as the game is fun and keeps me playing, i'm interested

I guess you could say i was on the ''border'' about this but now after hearing some actual people talk about it, i think i'll throw it on my christmas list. Its not a very big list so i have room. So far it consists of L4D2 and skullcandy headphones lol
