how big is the assassins creed 2 world?

I like to explore a lot and i might get this game. Is it big as the fallout 3 world or liberty city? Can you even go outside the walls?also are all the buildings enterable?how big is the assassins creed 2 world?
Assassins Creed 1 had 3 or 4, (don't remember) decently sized cities, takes about 3, 4, maybe 5 minutes to get from one side to another over the roofs but there's enough to explore. Cities are connected by paths that you travel over. Assassins creed 2 has 5 or 6 cities I think, but a bit smaller than the cities from AC1.

This is all from what I remember to have read so someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

Also if you are remotely interested in the story get AC1 first because the story is a direct sequel.how big is the assassins creed 2 world?

once you beat the game can you still roam around?
I haven't played Fallout so I can't comment on that. However, I would say it is around the same size as Liberty City, if not bigger. I don't understand what you mean by going outside walls because I thought you could in the first game, but yes, you can go outside of some areas and explore the countryside. It's a very fun game, a lot better than the first one and it isn't repetitive at all, at least I don't find it to be. You can enter some buildings, but only a few. I would compare it to GTA in how you can enter some, but not all.

No way. Assassin's Creed to maybe huge compared to action adventure games but compared to actual sandbox games it's nothing.
AC 2 has two major cities this time around: Florence and Venice. Florence and Venice are huge cities. There are also 3 other cities/towns: Monteregonni (the Villa, your base of operations), Tuscany, and Romagna. Now, your Villa is very small but that's only because you'll be there to occasionally grab a mission and get discounts from your stores there. Tuscany and Romagna are both smaller towns but have free roam-able areas outside of the town itself with little village sort of deals set up around there area. As for things you can do besides the missions to keep you busy, you can looks for chests, do assassin tombs, assassination contracts, races, and there's occasionally a templar hideout for you to do. You also can looks around for feathers, or my personal favorite, mess with guards.
