I really just want to know what Microsoft recomend for minimum internet connection speed.
I don't know if they give a specific spec. They just say broadband which is generally anything over a 56k connection. I took the liberty of going to there site and getting the link for the connections allowed.http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/connecttolive/xbox360/isps/intro.htm

33.6 kbps dialup.
I use DSL 1.5mb down and 512kb up, and I have no lag so far over the past almost 2 years on Live while online gaming.
an xbox 360 representative (1-800-4-MY-XBOX) told me at least a 1 mpbs internet connection
Anything over 1 MBPS is fine.
