Should I Get Borderlands?

I was wondering if I should get Borderlands? It looks like a very enjoyable game but, I am not sure if I should get it or not. I will most likely be playing it single player because nobody on my friends list plays it. I am wondering if it is still worth getting it if I am only playing by myself? I heard it is a much better experience playing it with friends. And also what are your thoughts on the game? Did you like it or not? And how much re-playability does it have? It tends to be more of a FPS than a RPG. It's real refreshing to play at first, but it gets a little old. I mean, it's decent, but it just...lacks in general. (sprouting from the lack of more RPG elements) Single-player will make it even more boring. I'd rather go play something that's either one or the other. (like, Oblivion for RPG, or Halo for FPS. At least until they make a Borderlands 2 and get it right, so I still hope) I didn't have motivation to finish the game. Should I Get Borderlands?
I love it. great game and it should offer lots of replay value. different cl@sses and a skill tree. also, note that you can find matches with people to play with, so you're never alone playing the game. and the DLC came out today; 800 MSP. it will keep you entrertained for a long time. but once you play it so uch, it will most likely get boring; that's how it is with any game.
i at first was very critic but then i get some nice weapons and i have so much fun in single i beat it 2 times
So you can only play it with people who are already on your friends list? Some of the best online friends I've made so far have been while I was playing Borderlands.
