I am in a dilemma right now because I can't decide whatI should get. I have a few questions:1) Do I need to play AC1 to understand AC2?
2) Is there any online component to AC2?
3) Is ODST worth the price tag for the campaign, firefight and maps (since i didnt buy any)?Earlier I was thinking about getting ODST for the maps and campaign but Bungie announced for the december update, they would remove a lot of the DLC requirment for playlist so I (having bought none of the maps) can play the modes like Team snipers and Team SWAT without needing the maps. So i was wondering if I should get ODST since I played it before at my friends house, it was decent with the campaign and firefight but the best part is obviously MP for which i have Halo 3. So should I get AC2 or ODST?Assasin's Creed II vs Halo 3:ODST
I've played ODST for awhile. and it's not really worth it. online is ALWAYS laggy. and it got kinda stale after about 5 or more playthroughs. I recommend AC2. looks pretty good IO :DAssasin's Creed II vs Halo 3:ODST
AC2 by far. unless you're primarily a multiplayer gamer. There's no online but there's so much to do. FireFight is useless unless you know people who play it. I don't think it's worth it for the multiplayer but maybe you think it would.
Haven't played ODST, honestly wasn't interested at all. Assassin's Creed II is a win though :P...no you don't need to play the first to understand it (there's a few references to the first, but I didn't play it and I understand just fine) but no online components either. Either way, tons of ways to assassinate people, tons of different weapons, and you can climb buildings better than a monkey. What's not to like? :P I say go for Assassins Creed II.
Well right now I am leaning towards ACII since I have Halo 3 for the MP online and most people say Firefight isn't as fun as it looks. Anyways people have also said that ACII is glitchy and gets repititve after a while, is it true? Because I don't want a SP only game that is glitchy and gets so repitive that i don't wanna finish it. Also, how long is ACII both without extra quests and hunts and with the extra options?
Hey which is better, eating a hamburger or going on a roller coaster?

Depends if your hungry or not ;)

hmm, make it a cheeseburger and I think I've got an answer.
AC2 all the way, but I'd get or borrow AC1 first. A lot of the story points come flow from AC1 into AC2.

Well ODST will be $40 at most retailers this Black friday so getting all the maps on 1 disc is a good deal but the Campaign is boring and firefight is a drag. AC2 is a MAJOR improvement from AC1, it's a true sequel. The game is great and lengthy so your sure to get your moneys worth. If your worried about being lost, just look online for summarys of the game's plot. It's not too complicated. It really comes down to how much you play Halo 3 mp. I personally would go with AC2 just because it's fresh and engaging.

In fact, i hated AC1 but am loving AC2.
Get both if possible, but if you have to choose go with AC2. It's a great game, it looks great, plays great and is alot of fun. AC2 does sort of start of a little slow at the beginning with the family back-story, but once that's over the game has alot of action in it.I'd recommend getting AC1 first, but it is not necessary. AC1 is a good game, don't let the people complaining about it being repetitive scare you off. Yes it is sort of the same missions from city to city, but the enemies get harder and you will need to think through how to complete the missions more.
